How Are You Today?

 Doing Well I hope.  Yesterday I went on my tour of UTA.  It was hot.  I did not know if I would make it.  But I did.  My tour guide was Summer.  She took us to the University Center, West Hall, the MAC, and into the Central Library.  We also passed the Nanotech Research facility.  While I was at UTA I learned about the cybersecurity boot camp at UTA.

The program for UTA's cyber security is just what I have been looking for.  I was sitting down, waiting for my tour.  Scrolling through Facebook, when I came across it.  I will look into that program further, and find out whether they take the GI Bill or not.  The program looks just like what I have been searching for when it comes to Security+.  I will schedule to find out more about the program.  

Here is a photo of the UTA Race Car from the entrance of the Dan Dippert University Welcome Center.  I have seen this before.  But not at the welcome center.  This is because when I first applied to the school I never went to the welcome center.  I did see it at the fish fry with Jack.  
Standing behind me, was Blaze.  I was so thrilled by the tour, it made me want to return to school.  In the Planetarium they added a wheel from the crashed Columbia Space Shuttle.  I may have already mentioned this, but it was something which stuck out to me.  From when I was young, I remember how the space shuttle and space rockets were a big deal in Texas.  So, it remains even to this day.  In an age where people say we have not even been to the moon.  

They are talking new mask mandates in Washington.  So far, in Texas there are no mask mandates any longer.  However, that could change I suppose.  Cases of the supposed virus are on the rise again.  Here in Texas, for now, though, we do not have to worry about wearing a mask.  Except I do wear one for work.

Today I work at 1:15 PM.  My hours are a bit cut short.  But that is ok.  I will just stick with it through the good and bad times.  Still, I got good hours over all I think.  Anytime I am working, I feel good.  Mostly, I just bag and get carts.  But occasionally, there is some excitement like cleaning the mess in the women's restroom.  Or, having to do T (trash) time.  

I put a hot pocket in the microwave.  Then, I took my medicine.  Speaking of my medicine I am almost completely out.  I am out of one medicine, Propanolol and I am almost out of Gabapentin.  I ordered them over the phone like I was supposed too.  This whole thing with the medicine makes me nervous.  This is why I do not like taking medicine.  But I am supposed too.  So, I do.

Ukraine Invasion Continues

 Earlier this week Russia began invading the Ukraine.  Now, that invasion continues.  This video  shows footage of supposedly Russian forces firing, near Kharkov. The city is located in Eastern Ukraine.  I heard another say that Russian forces are nearing Kiev.  In the article,  The explosions were seen near Kharkiv, Ukraine, a city with a population of roughly 1.4 million nested near the eastern border and approximately 300 miles from the capital city of Kyiv, Ukraine This just shows how quickly the Russians moved.  Are we going to respond?  I don't think we can.  Ukraine is not a NATO nation.  The Russian President warned everyone about interfering, and said  attempt to intervene would lead to "consequences they have never seen." Putin did not specify what his threat meant.  But I expect most people understand, that this could be nuclear.  Supposedly, Russia and China have entered into a new partnership.  Just ...

Filling Out the FAFSA

 Along with re-applying to UTA I also filled out my FAFSA for 2021 and 2022.  I always forget to fil out my FAFSA.  But this year I did it because I am re-applying for school.  I intend to use the GI bill rather than student loans.  But it is on the to do list.  You can fill out the FAFSA yourself at  https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa .  I need to order transcripts according to my checklist.  But UTA already has my transcripts.  Still, I guess I will find out whether I need to do so in the next day or two.  It is a weekend that I submitted my application.  So, I need to allow a couple of days.  It will be good to be back in school.  After working at Albertsons maybe I can tough it out a little better now.  I have a bit of a work ethic now.  I cannot wait to start.  Not sure if I will start this fall, or next spring but I am determined to finish my studies.   Scott is going to come b...

  Rhetorical Writing Triangle I wanted to run an advertising campaign.  To test out the features of pinterest business mode .  I chose this Rhetorical Writing Triangle to advertise.  The campaign has generated 61 clicks.  It is clear, I do not know what I am doing.  But I am interested in learning so I could help out and maybe make some money.  It is clear, many people want to learn about Rhetorical Writing.  Yet, do they even teach it in school?  I have no idea.  I was home schooled.  But I did attend Christian Liberty Academy.  I remember some of there Grammar involved Essay writing.  Book reports too.
