Sharing A Couple Photos

KBR Transportation; Taken in Arlington Texas, July 19, 2021
I was headed into work yesterday.  When I saw yet another big truck in the parking lot.  I could not resist taking a picture of the truck.  On the side of the truck is KBR Transportation.  I remember KBR from when I was in Afghanistan.  It makes me wonder if this truck has to do with the withdrawal in Afghanistan.  Well, anyways, I just thought I would share it here on my blog.  Later, I will try and look up more information about it.  To find out what kind of truck it is.  It clearly looks like a big diesel truck, but what brand I wonder.  I did not get close enough to see the markings on it.  I just had to share this, anyways.

No more Sanitation.  The time clock is working again.  So, I will be able to go right in and clock in instead of filing out a punch card.  This week, I close on Thursday.  But I don't start until 2 PM, where as today I start at 1:15 PM.  Because they have no more Sanitation Albertsons can afford to have more Courtesy Clerks.

I am still reading my book.  I really like how the book describes the suffering of our allies in China, during World War II.  They almost got wiped out.  But Colonel Chennault did not give up.  He was sent to the United States on a mission to get more airplanes for China.  Almost all of the American volunteers left after the war with Japan started.  This is because they were drawing bad press, and they were against overwhelming odds.  Chenault arrived November 15, 1940 in Washington, D.C..  The next chapter is titled "An Air Unit For China", in The Flying Tigers.

Well, back to my coffee.  I hope you enjoyed reading this blog entry.  I almost did not post today.  I was glad I did, because I had that picture to share.
