The Heat Wave

Today, I start work at 2 PM.  Instead of 3:30.  So, I begin as a Courtesy Clerk and clock out as Sanitation.  Yesterday, while I was sanitation James, a fellow associate, bought me a Dr. Pepper because of the help I had been.  Even though I was wearing a  mask, that was a delicious Dr. Pepper.  James said, "You are the only one who consistently shows up".  Aww.  Thank you, James. 

On the western coast of the United States there is a heat wave.  This is causing fires in California, Oregon, Washington and Canada.  Some people blame laser weapons.  Other people blame the heat wave.  Here is a Youtube video by a lady, who documented the burning of a town called Lytton, British Columbia.  

An evacuation was ordered by the town of Lytton's mayor.  The people ended up escaping the flames, but they left there lives behind.  Some people blame laser weapons, which sounds screwy because there is a heatwave ongoing.  I looked up DEW signature on Goggle but didn't find any kind of definition.  Anyways, this video was made July 1, 2021 as the narrator says.  Even in the news they were questioning whether the fires are being started by a laser weapon.  
Temperatures of over 100 degrees.  In the Pacific Northwest, where normally, it is not so hot.  At night, in Portland, it was 90 degrees.  I grew up in this area, so it affects me when I hear about how difficult the struggle is.  The heat is ripping apart roads, and buildings even, which were not built to withstand such high temperatures.  
Meanwhile, yesterday on June 30, 2021 President Trump and Governor Abbott visited the southern border.  Highlighting the crisis in that area, where not just illegals, but criminals are beginning to jump the border.  As Jack would say, "Send them all back,".  Here is the footage of Trump and the Governor at the border: 
Trump talks tough on the border.  Governor Abbott lends his praise to Trump.  While speaking, Trump addresses MS13 and the Wuhan lab in China.  Trump also mentions the economy he helped produce.  Trump explains how he ended "Catch and Release".

Ukraine Invasion Continues

 Earlier this week Russia began invading the Ukraine.  Now, that invasion continues.  This video  shows footage of supposedly Russian forces firing, near Kharkov. The city is located in Eastern Ukraine.  I heard another say that Russian forces are nearing Kiev.  In the article,  The explosions were seen near Kharkiv, Ukraine, a city with a population of roughly 1.4 million nested near the eastern border and approximately 300 miles from the capital city of Kyiv, Ukraine This just shows how quickly the Russians moved.  Are we going to respond?  I don't think we can.  Ukraine is not a NATO nation.  The Russian President warned everyone about interfering, and said  attempt to intervene would lead to "consequences they have never seen." Putin did not specify what his threat meant.  But I expect most people understand, that this could be nuclear.  Supposedly, Russia and China have entered into a new partnership.  Just ...

Filling Out the FAFSA

 Along with re-applying to UTA I also filled out my FAFSA for 2021 and 2022.  I always forget to fil out my FAFSA.  But this year I did it because I am re-applying for school.  I intend to use the GI bill rather than student loans.  But it is on the to do list.  You can fill out the FAFSA yourself at  https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa .  I need to order transcripts according to my checklist.  But UTA already has my transcripts.  Still, I guess I will find out whether I need to do so in the next day or two.  It is a weekend that I submitted my application.  So, I need to allow a couple of days.  It will be good to be back in school.  After working at Albertsons maybe I can tough it out a little better now.  I have a bit of a work ethic now.  I cannot wait to start.  Not sure if I will start this fall, or next spring but I am determined to finish my studies.   Scott is going to come b...

  Rhetorical Writing Triangle I wanted to run an advertising campaign.  To test out the features of pinterest business mode .  I chose this Rhetorical Writing Triangle to advertise.  The campaign has generated 61 clicks.  It is clear, I do not know what I am doing.  But I am interested in learning so I could help out and maybe make some money.  It is clear, many people want to learn about Rhetorical Writing.  Yet, do they even teach it in school?  I have no idea.  I was home schooled.  But I did attend Christian Liberty Academy.  I remember some of there Grammar involved Essay writing.  Book reports too.
